Meyer All-over Print Tshirt
Our Meyer Tshirt features an all-over print inspired the extravagant art(and outfits!) of Joachim Meyer’s circa 1560s manuscript Thorough Descriptions of the Art of Fencing. Printed in high resolution, photo-realistic detail, this T-shirt is 95% Premium Polyester/ 5% Spandex. Designed with the look and feel of organic cotton, this classic, casual style features advanced poly-performance fibers for ultimate wickability and top-notch coolness. Printed using Dye Sublimation with eco-friendly inks that are designed to last for years without fading in the wash. We are really excited about this phase of the project – translating these beautiful images into textile designs. Have a favorite image you’d like to see? Let us know!
As a clothing and textile designers, who are also students of historical sword fighting, SwordGeek’s Boutique brings together the things we love most! The richly detailed art of these manuscripts have provided us endless design inspiration for items for home and body, walls and sofas. What better way to proclaim your passion for all things swordy than bling that features the art of the time from the actual manuals our predecessors studied from?
Why this premium tee, it’s kind of expensive? This production method allows us to design and print over the ENTIRE tshirt – instead of just the limited printing area on the front. Basically, we custom design fabric, which is then individually cut and sewn into a custom shirt just for you. We think the striking result is a cut above just ‘regular’ tshirt. In sizes from XS to 2XL, we have something to fit everyone. Equally cute for dressing up and working out – show-off your love of swords!
Made to order, no returns or exchanges. Ships in 7-10 days.
