What better way to show to others that you adore the Masters of fencing than to show off their studies on your walls?! Here at Historica we have created three different wall hangings inspired by the art of three different fencing Masters teachings. We studied and took our inspirations from 16th-century German sword master Joachim Meyer’s “Thorough Descriptions of the Art of Fencing, 17th century rapier Master Ridolfo Capo Ferro’s “Great Representation of the Art and Use of Fencing“, and Fiore dei Liberi’s work – “the Florius de Arte Luctandi”.
As a clothing and textile designers, who are also students of historical sword fighting, SwordGeek’s Boutique brings together the things we love most! The richly detailed art of these manuscripts have provided us endless design inspiration for items for home and body, walls and sofas. What better way to proclaim your passion for all things swordy than bling that features the art of the time from the actual manuals our predecessors studied from?
